![]() ![]() HP SoftPaq Repository hasn't worked for more than a year. Please address some of these issues, so that I can either get the correct version, or that HP updates their reference image for HPIA to reflect the correct version. Question 3: If it does not exist, is the set version number for the reference image simply wrong, and that is says subversion 36, but gets 34? Question 2: If it does exist, is there a download link to it? I have not been able to find one. Question 1: Does HPSI 8.10.36.0 exist? The report says it specifically tries to get 8.10.36.54, but that's not what gets installed. Thing two: My update cycle never "finishes", so I can not be sure that my version of software is the correct (newest) one, since I'm told it's not, but I can't find or get a newer one. Thing one: I can never know if my installs are completed unless i double check every thing HPIA does, since it's reporting is faulty. This leads to two things and a couple of questions: If I uninstall HP System Information and then download it from the Microsoft Store (since HPSI is a UWP app), it downloads and installs, but still only with version 8.10.34.0. The installation is noted as "Passed", but as previously, no update has taken place. When I run HPIA again, it says it found a newer version (8.10.36.0), downloads and installs it. When I look in my Apps list in Windows, it says that the HP System Information tool is still version 8.10.34.0. My other report says that the installation is "Passed", with green letters.įor added info the sp143389 softpaq is titled "HP Hotkey Support - UWP". When running HPIA on my machine, the report says:įurther down, under recommendations, it says: I'd preferably do it by using HPIA, but any method will suffice. I'm on an HP Elitebook 850 G8, and want to update my software.
